Now that some months have passed since its release and with a few listens on, I reaffirm the thought that the direction taken by Alan in ‘Era Extraña’ does not quite work for me. I think that ultimately, the best songs in the album are the ones that reminisce ‘Psychic Chasms’, and not the MBV-ish attempts.
